They are not a property of TB-500 and not an amount anyone should draw — they exist so the arithmetic is visible before you change anything.

  1. Concentration. 5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2.5 mg/mL (2,500 mcg/mL).
  2. Per syringe unit. A U-100 syringe divides 1 mL into 100 units, so one unit holds 2,500 mcg ÷ 100 = 25 mcg.
  3. Volume for the 250 mcg target. 250 mcg ÷ 2,500 mcg/mL = 0.1 mL, or 10 units on that syringe.
