We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to operate the site and respond to research inquiries.
What we collect
- Email addresses you voluntarily submit via our email-capture form. Stored in MailerLite.
- Anonymized analytics via Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics — page views, referrer, device type. IP addresses are anonymized.
- Link click data (which links are followed, including links to external research sources) to measure educational impact.
How we use it
Email addresses are used solely to deliver the Peptide Research Starter Guide and periodic educational updates. Analytics data informs editorial decisions. We never sell your data.
Third-party links
We link to published research and other educational resources. We do not link to stores or suppliers. Third-party privacy policies govern any data collected once you leave thepeptidex.net.
Unsubscribe & data deletion
Every email contains an unsubscribe link. To request deletion of any stored data, email privacy@thepeptidex.net.
Browser storage and saved research
The theme preference, saved compound profiles and research notes are stored in this browser using local storage. Comparison selections use session storage. Research notes are not uploaded to PeptiDex, and there is no account or cross-device synchronization. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to see them.
You can remove a saved compound from My research. Clearing this site's browser data also removes the collection. Export a JSON backup before clearing data or changing devices; imports merge new compounds and keep existing notes. Downloaded backups and CSV files are your responsibility to store privately.
Analytics, when configured, may use their own storage. Public page URLs and search parameters may be recorded by hosting and analytics services; avoid including personal information in searches.
